One week ago Austin Cindric dumped Kaz Grala in the most blatant fashion for the win at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. A move that made him no fans online and seemed to lose him respect in the NASCAR garage area. Cindric prides himself on running a multitude of cars in series across the country and the world. A participant in all, a master of none.
Saturday he traveled to the Global Rallycross Series to race in a one off for the Bryan Herta team. A driver not in the championship but in a fast car with no fear is a nightmare for any driver racing for a championship. Scott Speed found out first hand as the tornado of destruction that is Austin Cindric took Speed out in a Heat race.

You don’t need to treat the regular drivers with kid gloves like they’re fine china. But you can’t come into a corner like that where it appeared he did little braking, knowing that the VW of Speed would be his brakes. Much like Grala was a week ago in Canada. Coming from that far back was a bold move and one that did not pay off. Scott Speed was obviously pissed off that this kid known for driving like a jackass was the one that took him out. Speed ripped out of his car to confront Cindric who naturally ran away from his problems.
Their mics didn't pick it up the best. But it's still clear enough pic.twitter.com/IYkOg5Dz5C

Speed caught up with him in the pits after the heat and let him know how he felt. The mics weren’t the best for this and it’s hard to tell but you can hear Speed questioning Cindric’s actions. He also calls him a spoiled rich kid or something along those lines.
Cindric is privileged beyond belief and appears to be completely tone deaf to that privilege. Week after week he acts like a rich kid who never has to deal with the consequences of his actions. Daddy Tim and Grandpa Roger will take care of it for him. He can continue to take seats from more deserving drivers but he can only do that for so long.
