NASCAR is back in Charlotte for the next two weekends. The residents of Lake Norman will take to the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway Friday morning. First we have Moorseville residents on track for truck series practice, see they don’t make enough to live on the lake yet. They’re a few streets over, have to cut through some yards and sneak onto a lake beach. After that we have Cup cars on track led by Charlotte’s largest home owner Dennis Hamlin who will attempt to win this race for the second time.
Friday is jam packed so plan accordingly. We’re talking 13 hours of activity from start to finish.
