Tune In: NASCAR Richmond TV Schedule

First things first, Richmond isn’t a short track.

Alright now that we’ve established that NASCAR heads to Richmond this weekend for two shows under the lights. The .75-mile track is promoted as a short track but the speeds are too fast, the passing is non-existent (trust us we ran the loop data from the last 5 years already) and the last exciting race was 2016. It was dubbed “the action track” and for the life of me, I have no clue who gave it that name? Outside of Harvick and Ricky Rudd squabbling, there hasn’t been a ton of action. Not enough to warrant that name. Kasey Kahne called it a “smaller Kentucky” one time and there isn’t a more accurate statement than that. Boring, difficult to pass and the leader usually leads 85% of the race.

Anyway, here is the NASCAR Richmond TV schedule we get started early tomorrow at 8AM.
